The Fort Erie Underwater Recovery Unit once again held a 50/50 draw with proceeds going to the Lake Erie (Eastern Basin) Mooring Project. A total of $1214.00 was raised for the project and three prizes of $607.00 / $364.20 / $242.20 given out. Our thanks to the FEURU for their contribution and effort. |

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS- SHIPWRECKS/2012We are now in the planning stages for our 18th annual one-day
symposium on shipwrecks, Shipwrecks/2012 . We are
requesting presentations in either of 2 categories:
Primary presentations may be up to 45 minutes in length, but most are approximately 20 - 25 minutes, with additional time allotted for question and answer. Live commentary is preferred to "canned" packages. Short, 5 minute maximum, presentations (primarily to introduce new topics or presenters) are also being requested. All presentations should be shipwreck-related and we try for an even split between recreational and technical topics. "Shipwrecks/2011"was held on Saturday, April 2, 2011. We
had approximately 485 people in attendance. For 2011, we had 138 door prizes donated ($10,175.00 value) which are now listed on the web
site along with the contributors and winners' names.
